Child Support

Child support is almost a “non-issue.”  There is a statutory calculation that takes into consideration the gross monthly income of each parent and the amount of time each parent has the children, and then dictates the amount of money that one parent will be obligated to pay to the other parent.

Child support can be requested at the same time that the petition for dissolution is filed.

The only time that child support is an issue is when a parent is hiding income.  Anne Marie Healy has discovered many ways to find hidden income.

If you are going through a divorce, or if you have not been married but need to resolve custody issues, then make sure that the attorney addresses your need for child support along with the issues pertaining to custody and visitation in the documents that are being filed.

There are other issues with regard to child support that may or may not be an issue in your case, but Anne Marie Healy can handle all aspects of child support, such as:

  • Wage Assignment Orders

  • Failure to Pay

  • Modification

  • Paternity

  • Remarriage

  • Tax Issues
